The Pharoahs don't know what's happening yet. Curt walks<br />
over to Mr. Gordon.<br />
CURT<br />
These are my friends. We were just...<br />
Mr. Gordon looks skeptical, then Curt smiles at him. Then<br />
Mr. Gordon smiles.<br />
MR. GORDON<br />
Jeez, you guys had me scared.<br />
He laughs nervously. The Pharoahs laugh. Everybody's happy.<br />
MR. GORDON<br />
Hey, you haven't left yet?<br />
CURT<br />
Oh ah--no--no, I'm not--<br />
Mr. Gordon looks puzzled.<br />
CURT<br />
I mean, I'm not leaving until<br />
tomorrow.<br />
MR. GORDON<br />
Tomorrow. Well, listen, Hank<br />
Anderson's inside. Come in and say<br />
good<strong>by</strong>e. You know, Hank's the one<br />
that brought your name up on the<br />
floor of the Moose Hall. You got the<br />
check, didn't you?<br />
He leads Curt toward the screen door. Curt looks around at<br />
the Pharoahs, who are slowly starting to work again pilfering<br />
the machines. Inside the small office, Curt shakes hands<br />
with Hank Anderson, who pats him on the shoulder.<br />
HANK<br />
We are all proud of you, Curt. The<br />
Moose Scholarship couldn't have gone<br />
to a better boy. And if there's<br />
anything we can do, let us know.<br />
MR. GORDON<br />
Yeah, you'll stay in touch <strong>by</strong> letter,<br />
won't you?<br />
There's a knock at the screen and they turn to see Joe at<br />
the screen door.<br />
JOE<br />
Hey, we're all done out here.<br />
MR. GORDON<br />
All done? What--what's he mean?
