FIJI NEWS
On behalf of the students who are going
to Fiji this year we would like to say thank
you to everyone who helped out with the
Garage Sale and fair last Saturday.
Families who donated goods to sell,
students and staff who set up, came on
the day to help run the stalls, staff and
students who helped clean up
afterwards.
As always this day could not happen
without Mr Schultz and all the helpers –
Thank you
We made close to $1500 to help students cover costs to go to Fiji.
Don’t forget to order your personal
iPhone covers and Calendars –
orders are due on Monday 13 August.
Put your photo on your iPhone or your
best drawing on a calendar, or make
some wonderful Christmas cards for
Grandma. See your Form Teacher or
Mrs Hawken at Student Reception for an
order form.
Option 1 – Bring a zip lock bag with a range of small items to be given to one
child
Option 2 – Bring items that can be added to gift bags
Things you can pack:
note books, colouring books, story books, marbles
pens, pencils, textas, crayons
toothbrush, toothpaste (in a small zip lock bag in case it explodes)
hairbrush, hair ties, small toys, cards
photo and/or letter from you (do not put your address)
Do not pack
toys that need batteries
anything larger than a large zip lock bag
2 nd hand items that are dirty
If you want to donate old clothes or shoes – make sure they are clean and bring
them in on the day and we will pack them.
teenagers. You can personally impact a stranger’s life with a simple gift.
