I’ll be at the Emily Giffin event, of course. That’s the SISterhood <strong>2012</strong> Major<br />

Fundraising Event where the speaker will be Emily Giffin, New York Times<br />

best-selling author of Something Borrowed, Something Blue, Love the One<br />

You’re With, and her new book, Where We Belong. We are expecting a large<br />

turnout; so mark your calendars for Thursday, November 15, <strong>2012</strong>.<br />

NOTE: Early bird reservation will entitle you to a free screening of Something<br />

Borrowed on Thursday, November 1 or Sunday, November 4. Look for your<br />

MITZVAH-A-MEETING IS NOW MITZVAH-A-MONTH!<br />

This year, look for our new SISterhood MITZVAH-A-MONTH, where each and every SISterhood<br />

member is invited to join us in Tikkun Olam projects. Collection bins are at the synagogue<br />

throughout the month, so please swing by the synagogue each month to donate.<br />

Board meetings (dates subject to change): If you regularly attend board meetings, please<br />

bring your mitzvah-a-month item to the board meeting. Some months the board meeting<br />

will have a separate mitzvah activity which are noted in parenthesis after the board meeting<br />

date.<br />

<strong>September</strong> • Food Pantry collections for JFS. Canned/bottled/boxed foods.<br />
