1. Guiding principles & General requirements<br />
1.1 Guiding principles<br />
The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> supports and respects the following main international<br />
ethical guidelines:<br />
• The United Nations Universal Declaration on Human Rights<br />
• International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles<br />
and Rights at work<br />
• United Nations Global Compact<br />
• OECD’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises<br />
1.2 General requirements<br />
All companies within the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall operate in full compliance with<br />
relevant laws and regulations applicable to their operations and employment<br />
in the countries in which they operate. This is the minimum requirement in all<br />
sections <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong>.<br />
The requirements <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> apply to all employees, <strong>of</strong>ficers<br />
and Board members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong>, in all markets and at all<br />
times. Thus, as an employee, you must be aware <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong><br />
and comply with it. Managers are responsible for implementing and informing<br />
employees <strong>of</strong> their rights, duties and responsibilities under the <strong>Code</strong>.<br />
Suppliers to the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall agree to comply with this <strong>Code</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong>. If suppliers use subcontractors for the production <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dometic</strong><br />
<strong>Group</strong> products, it is the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the supplier to require that the subcontractor<br />
complies with the provisions in this <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong>. On request,<br />
the supplier shall be able to inform us which subcontractors they use.<br />
