<strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong><br />
3. Business principles<br />
3.1 Anti-corruption<br />
The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall not participate in or facilitate any kind <strong>of</strong> corruption,<br />
including extortion and bribery, at all times.<br />
3.2 Relations with Business partners and Customers<br />
The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall exercise fairness in all dealings with its business<br />
partners. The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall not <strong>of</strong>fer customers and potential customers,<br />
or any representatives <strong>of</strong> such entities, any rewards or benefits in violation<br />
<strong>of</strong> either applicable laws or reasonable and generally accepted business practices.<br />
Likewise, employees must not accept gifts, benefits, reimbursements or<br />
entertainment that could affect, or even appear to affect, the objectivity and<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional judgment <strong>of</strong> the employee.<br />
3.3 Accounting and Reporting<br />
All financial transactions by the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> must be reported in accordance<br />
with generally accepted accounting principles as set forth in applicable<br />
accounting policies, and as provided in local laws and regulations. Accounting<br />
records must show the nature <strong>of</strong> all transactions in a correct and non-misleading<br />
manner. The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> is committed to ensuring transparency<br />
in its financial reporting at all times.<br />
3.4 Conflicts <strong>of</strong> Interest<br />
Employees may not engage themselves, with or without compensation, in<br />
activities outside the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> that might conflict or appear to conflict<br />
with the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong>’s interests, without approval from the employee’s<br />
manager or in accordance with the Grandfather principle. <strong>Dometic</strong> requires<br />
that employees immediately disclose situations or transactions that reasonably<br />
would be expected to give rise to a conflict <strong>of</strong> interest.<br />
3.5 Political Involvement<br />
The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> observes strict neutrality with regard to political parties<br />
and candidate and will thus not make any contribution or payment, directly or<br />
indirectly, to political parties, committees or to individual politicians. Employees<br />
may not make any political contribution on behalf <strong>of</strong> our <strong>Group</strong> or through<br />
the use <strong>of</strong> corporate funds or resources.<br />
3.6 Competition<br />
The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> supports the principles <strong>of</strong> free enterprise and<br />
fair competition as the basis for business development and innovation.<br />
All companies within the <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall compete<br />
on the market in a manner that is both ethical and fair, without<br />
engaging in any inappropriate activities or unfair trade practices.<br />
