2. Human rights & Employment<br />

2.1 Human rights<br />

The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> supports and respects the protection <strong>of</strong> internationally<br />

proclaimed human rights. We will always make sure that we are not complicit<br />

in human rights abuses.<br />

The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> will not tolerate any illegal child labour in any form. All<br />

business units shall therefore follow general recommendations issued by, for<br />

example, the International Labour Organisations’ declaration, (ILO) for each<br />

respective country. If a child is found working at a production site, <strong>Dometic</strong><br />

<strong>Group</strong> strives to achieve remediation that does not worsen the child’s social<br />

situation.<br />

<strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> will not tolerate forced or involuntary labour in any form.<br />

This includes bonded labour and other forms <strong>of</strong> working against one’s own<br />

will or choice.<br />

2.2 Employment/Workplace Practices<br />

Our <strong>Group</strong> strives to be a preferred employer <strong>of</strong> both current and potential<br />

employees.<br />

All employees shall be provided with a safe and healthy working environment.<br />

<strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> strictly adheres to all applicable laws and regulations<br />

relating to workplace health and safety. Any incidents or potential safety issues<br />

must therefore be immediately reported to local management.<br />

All employees shall be treated according to his or her abilities and qualifications<br />

in any employment decisions, including but not limited to hiring,<br />

advancement, compensation benefits, training, lay-<strong>of</strong>fs and termination.<br />

Employees shall not be subject to corporal punishment or to physical,<br />

sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse, or any other conduct<br />

prohibited by law.<br />

Wages, including overtime and benefits, shall equal or exceed the minimum<br />

level required by applicable law and regulations in each respective<br />

country. <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> shall honor all laws regarding compensation and<br />

hours <strong>of</strong> work.<br />

The <strong>Dometic</strong> <strong>Group</strong> respects the employee’s rights to form, join or to<br />

refrain from joining employee associations. No employee should be subject<br />

to intimidation or harassment in his or her peaceful exercise <strong>of</strong> these rights.<br />
