Tools Cables
Martin can supply a range of useful lighting tools and equipment. Some examples
are given below.
UV pROTECTION GLASSES
UV protection glasses protect the eyes against dangerous UV radiation from a
discharge source. To avoid exposure, all Martin fixtures are equipped with UV
filters, however UV glasses can be essential in service/maintenance departments.
2 MM T-SHAfT ALLEN KEY
This handy tool is very useful in service/maintenance departments when changing
or adjusting color/gobo wheels and other effects.
LINK/STEppER DRIVER TESTER
The Link Tester allows you to check the XLR serial link for problems quickly and easily.
It also tests the stepper drivers used in Martin products. Both features make it extremely
valuable for fast on-site troubleshooting.
Martin can supply a range of high-quality cables with excellent electrical and
physical specifications.
The universal Martin data cables are available in various lengths and in three types
for RS-485 (DMX), Ethernet and color scroller applications. We have optimized
the wiring design and incorporated a hardwearing environmentally safe jacket,
making the cables suitable for both touring and installation. All 1-pair cables are
fitted with 3-pin and all 2-pair cables with 5-pin Amphenol XLR connectors. The
flame-retardant, low-smoke, zero halogen cables are heavy duty, have excellent
deformation recovery, and are approved to IEC 60332.1, UL-CL, UL-444 and VW-1.
They have been tested and approved by both rental and installation customers.
