Pedagogical qualifications
I have accomplished four pedagogical courses offered by the Centre for Educational Development
(CED) at Lund University:
1. Lärarrollen vid universitet och högskola [Teaching, Level 1]: 2 weeks full time.
2. Högskolepedagogisk fortsättningskurs [Teaching, Level 2]: 2 weeks full time.
3. Kommunikation i undervisningen [Specialization course in lecturing]: 1 week full time.
4. Doctoral supervision: 1,5 weeks full time.
These courses constitute the required pedagogical education for teachers at Lund University.
My teaching experience so far adds up to 200 hours in class (more than 600 hours including
administration, course design, evaluation, examination etc). In addition to lectures and seminars I
have been a supervisor for 25 undergraduate students writing their thesis (and examiner for 25 other
undergraduate students). This equals a work load of 350 hours.
