features established Bow Valley artists, <strong>and</strong> maintains an<br />

including historical <strong>and</strong> contemporary work by Canadian<br />

Housed in an airy Main Street location, Elevation<br />
Gallery boasts a large collection of artworks by<br />
emerging <strong>and</strong> mid-career artists. Although the<br />
gallery features large scale works by contemporary<br />
painters <strong>and</strong> mixed media artists, it also houses<br />
wonderful pieces in ceramic, glass, metal <strong>and</strong> in<br />
particular, fine jewellery by award winning<br />
goldsmiths.<br />
H<strong>and</strong> blown glass sculpture, functional work <strong>and</strong> jewellery<br />
by Susan Gottselig, Nicole Tremblay <strong>and</strong> Beth Wooley.<br />
Visitors welcome! Please call ahead for hours. Glass from<br />
these artists is also at The Avens Gallery, Mountain<br />
Galleries, (Jasper Park Lodge & Chateau Whistler), <strong>Art</strong>ym<br />
Gallery (Invermere) <strong>and</strong> Rowles <strong>and</strong> Co (Edmonton).<br />

Two generations of Canmore potters sharing a<br />
professional studio that welcomes locals <strong>and</strong> visitors. They<br />
make a full range of functional high-fired pottery in many<br />
styles <strong>and</strong> designs, <strong>and</strong> are always happy to do custom<br />
designs by commission. The studio is open Tuesday<br />
through Saturday from 10:30 to 5, or by appt.<br />
