Agency Mission
Serves the homeless, addicted and impoverished
through Christ-centered
programs to meet their spiritual, social
and physical needs. Our primary goal
is to restore people to right relationships
with God, their families and society.
Food service is for any person,
man, woman and child.
Community Outreach: Women, their
children and families. Any adult in
need can receive food boxes, clothing,
furniture and light counseling. Community
meal is served every day at 5:45
p.m.
Shelter for Homeless Men: Provides
shelter for homeless men, including referrals
to other social service agencies,
and free evening meals served from
5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day. Seventy
beds are available.

Rehabilitation:
Discipleship Program for Major Life Issues
This program provides a long-term discipleship
and recovery program for
men who are experiencing life difficulties.
Some of these difficulties may be
brought on by substance abuse, emotional
upheaval, mental and/or spiritual
problems. The program seeks to address
these problems by dealing thoroughly
with a man’s physical,
emotional, social, familial, legal, psychological
and spiritual needs in a biblical
foundational way. Forty-five beds
available in this program. Population
served: single men. Eligibility Requirements:
Candidate is physically,
mentally and medically stable, and is

Provides decent, safe, and sanitary
housing for low- to moderate-income
residents of Sussex County.
Moderately Priced Housing Unit
Program: The MPHU Program offers
expedited review and density bonuses
to developers who build homes affordable
to people within 80% and 125% of
the area's median income. The projects
must be located in growth areas,
offer 15% of total units to the program,
and are subject to 20 year affordability

Community Development Block Grant
Program: Provides annual grants to finance
housing rehabilitation and public
works improvements that serve lowand
moderate-income persons in Sussex

Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program:
Provides home improvement loans to
owner-occupants or landlords interested
in moderately rehabilitating existing
properties. The loans, up to
$35,000 per homeowner, are made at
a three percent interest rate for a term
