STEPS TO FIX YOUR PET
1. DO NOT GIVE FOOD OR WATER AFTER 10PM THE NIGHT BEFORE UNLESS UNDER 5 LBS.
2. ARRIVE AT OUR LOCATION AT 6:45AM. Our location changes so see the calendar on the reserve side.
3. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
a) YOUR PET: Dogs must be at least 4 months old & arrive wearing a well-fitting collar and be on a leash.
No dogs over 70lbs, due to space limitations. Cats must be at least 2 lbs and arrive in their own carrier or box.
You may bring your pets’ medical records if you have them. Blood work is recommended for pets over five
years of age, and required for pets eight years or older. Please bring in a result no more than two weeks old.
b) CASH AND/OR PROOF OF PUBLIC ASSISTANCE W/PHOTO ID: Surgery is free w/ photo ID and
proof of public assistance (SSD/SSI, Food Stamps, Major VA Disability, WIC, Section 8, Housing, TANF,
Medicaid, unemployment, Social Security, or other state/federal public assistance). CASH IS REQUIRED
FOR ALL SERVICES AT CHECK-IN. Additional services are provided for a low fee (see reverse side for
prices). We strongly recommend purchasing pain control and an e-collar for your animal’s well-being.
c) TWO BATH TOWELS PER PET. They will be returned at pick-up.
4. INTAKE AT 7AM: Pregnant, in-heat, and pets of low-income WILL take top priority. Due to space limitations
we CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR PET WILL BE ACCEPTED that day. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS
IN THE CAR until paperwork is filled out and coordinator tells you to get your pet.
5. PICK-UP: Check-out time is announced when pets are loaded during intake at 7AM. Someone else can pick up your
pet(s) for you but you can’t ask for an earlier/later time for pickup.
ALL DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND/OR CANCELLATION. CHECK OUR VOICEMAIL FOR LATE UPDATES.
