Your evening entertainment will vary depending on where the ship is located. It could be the<br />
zither music that is so popular in the Alpine regions of Germany, Switzerland and Austria as Tony<br />
Temerson delights you with well-known melodies such as Edelweiss, Dr. Zhivago and the Third<br />
Man Theme. Or, join in the fun with the rollicking tunes of a traditional Bavarian Brass Band or<br />
perhaps a colourful gypsy troupe as they move among the audience, often involving you in their<br />
singing and dancing.<br />

As well as musicians and performers we also bring onboard speciality artists to showcase their<br />
skills and expertise. Enjoy the creativity of fl ameworker, Hans-Joachim Ittig, as he demonstrates<br />
German glassblowing techniques and possibly invites you to blow a personal glass ornament.<br />
Or be entertained by the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble with authentic folk music, dance and<br />
dramatic plays in the very best of dance-house tradition. When sailing from Regensburg, we<br />
offer daytime entertainment with a cuckoo clock demonstration that explains the history of clock<br />
making in the Black Forest region and gives examples of how cuckoo clocks are made and work.<br />
