10,000 Step Challenge<br />
Environmental issues, including climate change, are affected by how societies, communities<br />
and individuals function, on many levels. These issues have multiple impacts on our lives. With<br />
NAACP’s multi-issue advocacy agenda, climate change is a common thread that runs through<br />
all of the sectors in which we are engaged. Thus, the 10,000 Steps to Environmental and<br />
Climate Justice Project addresses each of these themes with mile markers to explain the<br />
intersection of the NAACP’s multi-issue advocacy agenda and the Environmental and Climate<br />
Justice Program goals.<br />
