Term 3 Week 1 (holiday planning 'heads‐up')<br />
The first three days of Term 3 are pupil‐free days for most students [Monday 9 July – Wednesday 11 July].<br />
The exceptions being ‐ Year 10 who will be on work experience from Monday 9 July to Friday 13 July; and, Year 11 who<br />
will be on camp from Wednesday 11 July to Friday 13 July.<br />
ICAS English, Maths and Science Competitions<br />
This year students were nominated to sit these competitions by their class teachers. Letters were sent home to<br />
parents informing them of competitions their child had been nominated to participate in. The costs and dates for<br />
sitting were outlined on this letter. We have now submitted our <strong>College</strong> entry form for these competitions so no<br />
further withdrawals are possible and the costs will be added to the student account for payment.<br />

An Invitation to all 2012 Year 9 and 10 students to the SCIENCE EXPERIENCE<br />
Participate in either a 2‐3 day ($110) or 4 day ($145) program at CQ University Bundaberg 26 to 28 June.<br />
Applications to attend need to be in by 1 June.<br />

Learn about careers in science and technology. Listen to leaders in science, technology and engineering. Perform<br />
interesting experiments in university laboratories.<br />
RIVERSIDE BREAKFAST CLUB<br />
Come on down to the Canteen area if you need some brain fuel on Wednesday and<br />
Thursday mornings.<br />
