his story is because there is such widespread ignorance<br />
of <strong>Christian</strong> history, including these facts:<br />
• <strong>The</strong> <strong>Gospel</strong>s in the Bible are based on eyewitness<br />
testimony and have far more historical credibility than<br />
spurious documents written in the second, third, or<br />
fourth centuries by, if you will, <strong>Christian</strong> cults.<br />
• <strong>The</strong> <strong>Christian</strong> emperor Constantine did not create<br />
the Bible, nor did he declare its canon, nor was he the<br />
first to declare Jesus divine.<br />
• Jesus was worshiped as divine from the very beginning.<br />
Those who believed in Him sealed their testimony<br />
with their own blood. <strong>The</strong>y could not deny what they<br />
saw with their own eyes and touched with their own<br />
hands.<br />
• Jesus was never married to anyone because He will<br />
marry His bride (the Church) at the end of time<br />
(Revelation 19:6-10).<br />
<strong>The</strong> Da Vinci Code should be taken as a 100 percent<br />
novel. By-and-large if you treat its “facts” as fiction, you<br />
are closer to the truth than if you treat its “facts” as facts.<br />
When the movie trailers for <strong>The</strong> Da Vinci Code were<br />
running, they declared, “Seek the truth.” That is one<br />
statement that we would totally agree with. Seek the<br />
truth. Seek with an open mind. See why tens of millions<br />
have discovered that Jesus Christ is who He says He<br />
was—God in human flesh—who came down from<br />
Heaven to redeem human beings.<br />
