Chemical digestion of the samples is a prerequisite for, among<br />
other tests, determination of COD, TOC, total phosphate and<br />
total nitrogen.<br />
The required temperatures and reaction time are programmed<br />
using the membrane keypad on the front of the reactor.<br />
It is also possible to pre-select reaction times of 30, 60 and 120<br />
minutes as well as continuous operation. When digestion is<br />
complete, the reactor automatically switches off and sounds<br />
an alarm.<br />
The ET 108 reactor is fitted with 8 holes for 16 mm diameter vials.<br />
For other chemical digestion operations, the ET 108 reactor also<br />
includes a 22 mm hole.<br />
The ET 125 / ET 125 SC* reactor is fitted with 25 holes for 16 mm<br />
diameter vials.<br />
