• Do you want to contribute to charity?
• You can still contribute to your own selected charities via the Give as You Earn
Scheme that will continue outside My Choice.
• Subject to approval you can start, stop or change contributions to specified
charities at any time through a ‘life event’.
You can make regular donations to any, or all, of the six HSBC nominated charities tax
effectively and free from National Insurance Contributions.
The nominated charities are:
• Alzheimer’s Society
• British Heart Foundation
• Cancer Research UK
• Mencap
• NSPCC ChildLine
• World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Contributions to each of the charities need to be in whole pounds and you can choose
to make donations from as little as £1 a month.

• Are you looking for an easy way to give to charity?
The Keep the Change scheme donates the spare pennies from your net monthly salary to
the HSBC nominated charities.
The nominated charities are:
• Alzheimer’s Society
• British Heart Foundation
• Cancer Research UK
• Mencap
• NSPCC ChildLine
• World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
For example, if your net monthly salary is £900.17, then by signing up to the Keep the
Change scheme you will donate 17p a month to charity. If your salary varies each month
then the amount of pennies donated will also vary. The maximum you can give each
month through the Keep the Change scheme is 99p.
