New A is coming

With its forthcoming new SL, Mercedes-Benz has
ensured that the iconic sports car will continue
its legacy as one of the most sought-after and
exciting roadsters in the world.
Since Mercedes-Benz took the sports car sector
by storm with the creation of its original SL in
1952, the model name has become synonymous
with dynamism, style, luxury and comfort.
Groundbreaking innovation has always been
at the heart of the acclaimed roadster and the
latest SL is no exception. Notably, Mercedes-Benz
has taken the meaning of its famous letters “SL”
– super, lightweight – literally. For the first time
and as part of an extensive programme to reduce
weight in the interests of agility and efficiency,
the SL has been produced almost entirely from
aluminium and weighs up to 140 kilograms less
than its predecessor.
