ARRIVAL<br />

1. COM FAIL<br />

acknowledged FL, if usable in the HP or failing<br />

this at the highest flight level of the HP.<br />

- Hold in HP at this ALT until the EAT or hold in<br />

HP at this ALT for 10min then descend in<br />

accordance with procedure in use to<br />

FL70, FL80 or FL100.<br />

- Leave IAF and perform the APCH procedure.<br />

1.3 COM FAIL followed by Missed APCH.<br />

- Comply with the missed approach procedure<br />

and perform a second attempt to land.<br />

- If the second attempt for landing fails, divert<br />

towards the AD stated in flight plan climbing to<br />

MNM enroute safety ALT.<br />

SUN and HOL: 07-11.<br />

3.4 Low ALT circuits:<br />

- Training flights only with instructor pilot.<br />

4. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURE<br />

4.1 Climbing rate must be selected (complying<br />

with ACFT specifications) in order to reach<br />

3660 in MNM time.<br />

4.2 All jets must maintain TKOF thrust to 2160,<br />

then climbing thrust V2+10kt to 3660.<br />

5. COM FAIL<br />

5.1 Squawk: 7600<br />

5.2 VMC: turn back and land on AD.<br />

5.3 IMC: Continue the flight to the TMA boundary<br />

following the assigned SID at the last assigned<br />

flight level, and climb to the cruising level as<br />

stated in the current flight plan. In case the last<br />

assigned flight level is incompatible with the<br />

minimum safe level, continue climb until the<br />

cruising level is reached.<br />

5.3 Departure to RISOR, at PENAR climb to<br />

FL150 .<br />

1. GENERAL<br />

1.1 Avoid overflying industrial area along the<br />

Rhone river to the south of Lyon up to the<br />

bridge. Also avoid overflying Chassieu, Bron<br />

and St. Priest.<br />

1.2 Non radio equipped ACFT prohibited, gliders<br />

prohibited within Bron CTR.<br />

2. SPECIAL VFR<br />

2.1 ALT of 2000 may be required for all VFR<br />

routes within Bron CTR and St. Exupery CTR.<br />

2.2 All ACFT are recommended to fly with LDG<br />

lights switched on.<br />

3. NIGHT VFR<br />

3.1 DEP: Climb overhead airfield at expected<br />

segment MNM ALT.<br />

3.2 ARR: Last used segment ALT to be<br />

maintained until being in sight of airfield<br />

within 5nm, then join traffic pattern.<br />

4. COM FAIL<br />

4.1 If failure occurs before receiving the entry<br />

clearance for the class C or D airspace,<br />

the ACFT shall not enter.<br />

4.2 If failure occurs inside the class D airspace,<br />

the ACFT shall squawk 7600 and continue<br />

the flight and land at LYON BRON AD,<br />

complying with light signals sent by the<br />

Control Tower, the ACFT shall follow the<br />

routes on Visual chart 4-1 and maintain 2000.<br />

4.3 If failure occurs in night VFR and during<br />

ATS hrs:<br />

Flight at right angles and at 2500 with lights<br />

on, then comply with TWR light signals.<br />
