Board Summary Report<br />
Resolutions Adopted by the <strong>SCA</strong>CAI Board of Directors<br />
at the May 22, 20<strong>08</strong>, Board Meeting.<br />
The Agenda, the April 24, 20<strong>08</strong> Board meeting<br />
minutes, and the consent agenda were all approved.<br />
The Investment Report was approved.<br />
The Property & Grounds Committee recommendation<br />
to get quotes on a swing arm for the information/security<br />
patrol building was approved. The<br />
recommendation to get quotes to install trees on<br />
Hampton Road for privacy was referred back to<br />
Property & Grounds for more information.<br />
The recommendation by the Finance Committee to<br />
approve the first quarter 20<strong>08</strong> financials was<br />
approved. Additionally, the expenditure request for<br />
replacement of a computer server for $4,743 was<br />
approved.<br />
The Board ratified the action by the Editorial<br />
Content Committee requiring scripts to be presented<br />
to the committee for Channel 99 presentations by<br />
the deadline established by the Channel 99 staff.<br />
The Trumpets Working Group was dissolved as of<br />
May 22, 20<strong>08</strong>.<br />
implementation plan to allow the RPMT to<br />
approve all operating, capital, and reserve fund purchase<br />
orders providing the team consults with the<br />
Board on any issues that negatively impact the overall<br />
project budget. The tentative schedule for implementation<br />
of the project was approved and the<br />
budget not to exceed $550,000 with funding<br />
sources of $476,000 from the Reserve Fund and<br />
$72,000 from the Capital Land, Building, and<br />
Equipment Fund was approved.<br />
The Charter for the Golf Liaison Advisory<br />
Committee was approved to enable the committee<br />
to represent <strong>SCA</strong> interest with the owners and manager<br />
of the Revere Golf Club. The first members of<br />
the group will be the presidents of the Men’s and<br />
Women’s Golf Clubs and Paul Sorenson as an atlarge<br />
member.<br />
The Board approved the hiring of an onsite,<br />
full-time IT person to assist all departments.<br />
The personal trainer two=year contract<br />
was approved. ♦<br />
The Refurbishment Project Management Team’s<br />
Charter was approved, as was the team’s project<br />
