Board Summary Report
Resolutions Adopted by the SCACAI Board of Directors
at the May 22, 2008, Board Meeting.
The Agenda, the April 24, 2008 Board meeting
minutes, and the consent agenda were all approved.
The Investment Report was approved.
The Property & Grounds Committee recommendation
to get quotes on a swing arm for the information/security
patrol building was approved. The
recommendation to get quotes to install trees on
Hampton Road for privacy was referred back to
Property & Grounds for more information.
The recommendation by the Finance Committee to
approve the first quarter 2008 financials was
approved. Additionally, the expenditure request for
replacement of a computer server for $4,743 was
approved.
The Board ratified the action by the Editorial
Content Committee requiring scripts to be presented
to the committee for Channel 99 presentations by
the deadline established by the Channel 99 staff.
The Trumpets Working Group was dissolved as of
May 22, 2008.
implementation plan to allow the RPMT to
approve all operating, capital, and reserve fund purchase
orders providing the team consults with the
Board on any issues that negatively impact the overall
project budget. The tentative schedule for implementation
of the project was approved and the
budget not to exceed $550,000 with funding
sources of $476,000 from the Reserve Fund and
$72,000 from the Capital Land, Building, and
Equipment Fund was approved.
The Charter for the Golf Liaison Advisory
Committee was approved to enable the committee
to represent SCA interest with the owners and manager
of the Revere Golf Club. The first members of
the group will be the presidents of the Men’s and
Women’s Golf Clubs and Paul Sorenson as an atlarge
member.
The Board approved the hiring of an onsite,
full-time IT person to assist all departments.

Charter was approved, as was the team’s project
