afford their medicines. NeedyMeds links healthcare consumers with pharmaceutical patient assistant programs <strong>of</strong>fering<br />
free or low cost prescriptions. Information about patient assistant programs is accessed through the NeedyMeds.org<br />
website which describes the application and eligibility process. The web site also identifies programs that provide<br />
assistance for specific diseases and health conditions, state and local healthcare resources and where to go for help with<br />
paperwork.
