worked as a Senior Field Engineer for Raytheon Corp. For the past 12 years,<br />

Mr. Miller has been a small business owner, operating a jewelry and gift shop in<br />

the community of North Park where he resides. In addition to his business<br />

interests he has served on the Board of Directors for the North Park Business<br />

Association. In the mid 1990’s Mr. Miller became actively engaged in the<br />

environmental movement and the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> and Imperial Counties Chapter of<br />

the Sierra Club which represents over 15,000 members. Mr. Miller is a past<br />

Chair and currently serves on the Chapter’s Executive <strong>Committee</strong>. He also<br />

serves on the Sierra Club California Executive <strong>Committee</strong>. Mr. Miller has been<br />

active in the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> community serving on Mayor Murphy’s Environmental<br />

<strong>Advisory</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> and currently serves on the City of <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> Housing<br />

<strong>Advisory</strong> and Appeals Board and the Mission Bay Park <strong>Committee</strong><br />

Alan Murphy<br />

Alan Murphy is the <strong>Airport</strong> Director for Orange County’s John Wayne <strong>Airport</strong>, the<br />

42 nd busiest commercial airport and 22 nd busiest general aviation airport in the<br />

nation. As <strong>Airport</strong> Director, he oversees all aspects of the day-to-day<br />

management of the <strong>Airport</strong> including Business Development, Facilities, Finance<br />

& Administration, Operations and Public Affairs. He is responsible for managing<br />

a $179 million annual budget and a staff of approximately 173 employees.<br />

Murphy is a member of the Southern California Association of Governments<br />

(SCAG) Aviation Task Force, <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> County Regional <strong>Airport</strong>’s Authority<br />

<strong>Advisory</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> and <strong>Airport</strong>’s Council <strong>International</strong> of North America (ACI-<br />

NA) Reauthorization Working Group. Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in<br />

Business/Economics from the University of California, <strong>San</strong>ta Barbara. He<br />

currently resides in the City of Huntington Beach.<br />

Col. Dave Myers<br />

He is currently assigned to Marine Corps Installations West (MCI-W) as Deputy<br />

Policy and Regions Branch Head and Aviation Brand Head. Colonel Myers has<br />

been on active duty with the Marine Corps for 26 years. He graduated from<br />

Western Carolina University with a B.S degree in Industrial Technology May<br />

1981, entered OCS, Feb1982 and commissioned a Second Lieutenant, April<br />

1982. During his assignments, Col Myers was assigned duties as squadron<br />

Logistics officer, Quality Assurance officer, Operations officer, Director of Safety<br />

and Standardization (DOSS), Executive office, MAG Operations Officer,<br />

Executive officer, MAG DOSS, Battalion Air officer and Division Plans officer. Col<br />

Myers is a graduate of Marine Corps non-resident Amphibious Warfare School<br />

and Command and Staff College. Colonel Myers resides in Oceanside, CA with<br />

his wife Susan and children Chase and Madison.<br />

Gail K. Naughton<br />

Gail K. Naughton, Ph.D., has been the Dean of the College of Business<br />

Administration at <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> State University since August 2002. Prior to that,<br />

she spent more than 15 years at Advanced Tissue Sciences, where she was the<br />

company’s co-founder and co-inventor of its core technology. Dr. Naughton holds
