This setup is optimized <strong>for</strong> a ceiling-mounted C-Bow system. All ceiling fixtures are out of the moving range of the C-Bow.<br />

It is not possible to have a central axis <strong>for</strong> <strong>OR</strong> lights over the <strong>OR</strong> table. Because of the moving range of the C-Bow, it is<br />

necessary to attach mounts <strong>for</strong> the <strong>OR</strong> lights on the sides. The light heads require long swivel arms to reach the operating<br />

field. The difference between solution 2 and 3 involves the docking of the anesthesia device and a MovaCart at the surgery<br />

supply unit. The supply units <strong>for</strong> surgery should have the same media outlets to enable rapid switching between anesthesia<br />

and surgery. This ensures a high degree of flexibility.<br />

12. ANESTHESIA<br />

A triple ceiling mount is selected to attach an<br />

X-Ray protection shield, the liftable anesthesia<br />

supply unit and long swivel arm <strong>for</strong> light head<br />

(satellite: 110.000 lux). The anesthesia device<br />

is lifted and docked to the supply unit (via<br />

MediaDocking). The supply unit has a long<br />

column. At this column an infusion pole is<br />

mounted.<br />

13. SURGERY AND CARDIO<br />

There is a double ceiling mount to attach<br />

two supply units <strong>for</strong> surgery and cardio. The<br />

surgery supply unit is a long, liftable column<br />

with MediaDocking to lift a Mova-Cart<br />

(trolley with 4 shelves, 1 drawer). The cardio<br />

supply unit is a small liftable column with<br />

four separate swiveling display arms (load<br />

capacity <strong>for</strong> each arm: 15 kg).<br />

7. DISPLAY HOLDER AND <strong>OR</strong> LIGHT<br />

For placing the display holder and the <strong>OR</strong><br />

light, a double ceiling mount is used. The<br />

display holder can carry 8 single displays<br />

(size: up to 21"). The light head (160.000 lux)<br />

is brought over the operating field by a long<br />

swivel arm.<br />
