It is important to identify the body style of a controller before identifying internal electronic components. Locate your controller
from the descriptions and illustrations here.
Current "S" series enclosures are wider than their depth (rectangular base), with 10-station output boards. The wall mount
versions include a door lock-open bracket.
GFC-style pedestals have a roughly square base, with 10-station output boards (may say "Legacy" or Hunter).
GF controllers are also square, but have larger multi-station output boards (1 or 2 boards max, an upper board and often a lower,
51 stations max) and wider facepack assemblies (may say "Buckner" or "Legacy").
Radio Modules
Status
Controllers, central interfaces, and other devices have used at least 5 different radio modules in their evolution. Some older
units may be repairable, but are no longer available as replacements. Upgrading to RADIO2KT requires upgrading radio
communications board at the same time.
