Daily schedule includes chamber music rehearsals/coaching, private<br />

lessons and chamber orchestra rehearsals. The students will have<br />

the opportunity to perform repertoire studied in a final concert at the<br />

conclusion of the camp on Saturday, July 26 in York Performance Hall.<br />

Students will have the opportunity to perform in the state of the art<br />

“York Performance Hall” on the campus of <strong>Anderson</strong> <strong>University</strong>.<br />

GERT KUMI is a native of Albania. He has performed as a violin<br />

soloist and recitalist around the world. He studied at the Menuhin Academy<br />

in Switzerland and earned his master’s degree from the Juilliard<br />

School. He is on the faculty at the Masterworks Festival in Winona Lake<br />

and was recently appointed assistant professor of music at <strong>Anderson</strong><br />

<strong>University</strong>. He has performed as a soloist with the Shenyang Conservatory<br />

Orchestra in China, Staten Island Philharmonic, Symphony of the<br />

Lakes, and Masterworks Festival Orchestra.<br />

TERRY LANGDON joined the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra<br />

in 1979, holding the title of associate principal viola until 2002 when she<br />

elected to move into the section. Born in New York City, she earned a<br />

Bachelor of Music from Indiana <strong>University</strong>, and a Master of Music from<br />

Yale <strong>University</strong>, and has studied with Georges Janzer and Raphael Hillyer.<br />

Before coming to Indianapolis, she was principal viola with the Owensboro<br />

Symphony and played in the viola sections of the Buffalo Philharmonic,<br />

the New Haven Symphony, and the Aspen Festival Orchestra.<br />

YOONHAE K. SWANSON completed her Bachelor and<br />

Master of Music degrees in Cello Performance at Indiana <strong>University</strong>. She<br />

received the 2000 Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Undergraduate <strong>String</strong><br />

Award, The Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition<br />

and first prizes in the Kiwanis Musical Festivals. She was recognized for<br />

“High Scholastic Achievement” at Indiana <strong>University</strong>. Yoonhae is an active<br />

performer, including Richmond Symphony Orchestra as an assistant<br />

principal cellist and a founding member of the 3 Beats Piano Trio.<br />

NOELLE TRETICK GOSLING double majored in ballet and<br />

music at the North Carolina School of the Arts and performed with Ballet<br />

West. A graduate of the Indiana <strong>University</strong> Jacobs School of Music<br />

in violin performance, she is a member of the Indianapolis Chamber<br />

Orchestra and plays regularly with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.<br />

Having taught at <strong>Anderson</strong> <strong>University</strong> and Park Tudor School, she<br />

maintains a private teaching studio in her home.<br />
