Paul leads Haynes and Boone, LLP’s Cleantech<br />
Practice Group representing venture capital<br />
and private equity firms along with their portfolio<br />
companies. He served as chief operating<br />
officer of the U.S. Department of Energy’s<br />
Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) from 2006 until<br />
his return to Haynes and Boone. He also served as chief of staff for the<br />
United States and Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Department of<br />
Commerce. Texas Governor Perry recently appointed Paul to the Texas<br />
Bioenergy Policy Council.<br />

Mitch has been the co-director of ATI since<br />
July of 2009. Prior to that he was one of the<br />
founders and limited partners in the Angel<br />
Investment Group, Eyes of Texas Partners, LLC., and he was vice president<br />
of sales & operations for Tech Data Corporation, a $24b wholesale<br />
computer industry company. Mitch was with Dell, Inc. for eight years in<br />
a variety of executive positions. Mitch graduated with a BS in Business<br />
and Marketing from the University of Florida.<br />

Writer Kira Gould is director of communications<br />
at William McDonough + Partners and<br />
serves as contributing editor of Metropolis magazine. She writes about<br />
sustainability and design for that magazine and others. She was the<br />
2007 chair of the American Institute of Architects Committee on the<br />
Environment. She was co-author, with Lance Hosey of Women in Green:<br />
Voices of Sustainable Design (Ecotone Publishing, 2007). Follow her on<br />

Environmental Policy, Abby joined the<br />
Barefoot Power team – first helping with<br />
the Series B investment raise, now doing<br />
global sales for Asia and the Americas. Barefoot Power is a global, social<br />
for-profit enterprise that manufactures and distributes solar phone<br />
charging, lighting products and business development services to<br />
people currently burning kerosene for indoor lighting. Abby grew up in<br />
Austin, TX and attended UT for her B.S Human Biology.<br />

Callum has 18 years of communications experience<br />
working with some of the world’s most<br />
influential companies, NGOs and individuals<br />
— including the United Nations, National Park<br />
Service, the City of New York, FDNY, the World Bank and the Nobel Peace<br />
Prize winner Wangari Maathai. Callum is the co-founder and director<br />
of Counter Culture: an Edinburgh-based social enterprise helping businesses<br />
make a profit and make a difference.<br />
Ben Holland<br />

Rocky Mountain Institute<br />
Ben is manager of Project Get Ready, a Rocky<br />
Mountain Institute initiative focused on<br />
preparing communities and industry stakeholders<br />
for the integration and adoption of<br />
electric vehicle technology. In addition, he works as an analyst on RMI’s<br />
Solar PV Market Transformation program. Prior to RMI, Ben worked for a<br />
branding company in Richmond, Virginia, where he coordinated identity<br />
branding for one of the nation’s leading health clubs. Prior to that, he<br />
worked as a Financial Advisor for Merril Lynch.<br />

Tony Long<br />

Tony Long has more than 30 years of<br />
experience working in environmental<br />
non-governmental organisations in the UK<br />
and Europe. He founded and heads the WWF<br />
European Policy Office in Brussels. He is a<br />
member of WWF International’s Conservation Committee responsible for<br />
developing and overseeing the organisation’s global conservation programme.<br />
He is a member of the boards of the Global Footprint Network<br />
and WWF Greece. He is a member of the Sustainability External Advisory<br />
Committee of the Dow Chemical Company.<br />
Dhiraj Malkani<br />
Partner, RockPort Capital<br />
Dhiraj is a partner at RockPort Capital where<br />
he invests in energy technology. He is also<br />
passionate about finding opportunities at the<br />
intersection of consumer, mobility and social<br />
media that can disrupt these traditional<br />
energy industries. Dhiraj is very passionate about helping young minds<br />
embrace entreprenuership as a lifestyle. He wakes up each day excited<br />
to locate and nurture companies that will solve some of the most crucial<br />
