Psychology<br />

Psychology at E<strong>xeter</strong> is an expanding<br />

centre for academic teaching and<br />

research, committed to providing<br />

a friendly and intellectually<br />

stimulating environment. We have<br />

over 30 academic staff and nearly 200<br />

postgraduate students. Our teaching<br />

is informed by our diverse and<br />

internationally rated research and is<br />

accredited by the British Psychological<br />

Society where appropriate. Members<br />

<strong>of</strong> staff have strong research links with<br />

universities in other countries and<br />

we have a flourishing international<br />

community. We work in partnership<br />

with a variety <strong>of</strong> public and private<br />

sector organisations to ensure our<br />

research has policy relevance. Unlike<br />

most other leading departments, we<br />

provide postgraduate training and<br />

CPD courses for clinical psychology<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essionals on the same site as our<br />

research and Masters degrees.<br />

Normally a 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent in Psychology. Candidates must have also obtained<br />

the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society<br />

£5,750 £5,750 ✓ Applicants need to be experienced registered healthcare practitioners working within a<br />

healthcare or academic setting. A Masters qualification or equivalent is usually required for<br />

entry onto the programme.<br />
