Floating Support Service
About the service<br />
This service provides floating support to people in<br />
the London Borough of <strong>Enfield</strong>, who have a<br />
tenancy which may be at risk. The aim of the<br />
service is to support our customers to improve<br />
their life skills and to help them maintain<br />
accommodation and become more independent.<br />
We support people<br />
with needs including:<br />
• mental health<br />
• alcohol dependency<br />
• drug dependency<br />
• physical disability<br />
• HIV and AIDS<br />
• learning disability<br />
• young people at risk<br />
• young people leaving care<br />
• older people<br />
• offenders and people at risk<br />
of offending<br />
• domestic violence.<br />
We offer support with:<br />
• setting up and maintaining a<br />
tenancy<br />
• developing independent<br />
living skills<br />
• welfare benefits and<br />
maximising income<br />
• accessing social and<br />
community facilities<br />
• accessing other specialist<br />
support<br />
• accessing local support<br />
groups<br />
• training, education and social<br />
development<br />
• getting back to work.

How to apply/eligibility criteria<br />
We help people who are:<br />
• aged 18 years or older<br />
• a resident of the London Borough of <strong>Enfield</strong><br />
• willing to engage with support services<br />
• assessed as suitable for the service.<br />
We accept self referrals as well as those from<br />
other agencies, including:<br />
• Social Services.<br />
• Youth Offending Teams.<br />
• Care Leavers Team.<br />
