-The Maine East High School Band plays "My Kin¢a<br />

Town" as the First Lady gets off the plane.<br />

-The First Lady, accompanied by Mrs. Rodham, Hugh<br />

Rodham, and Tony Rodham, walks up onto the stage<br />

as the Maine South High School Band plays "Sweet<br />

Home Chicago".<br />

-Jerry Roper makes welcoming remarks and<br />

introduces Child's Play.<br />

-Child's Play sings "It Takes A Village".<br />

-Jerry Roper introduces Mary Rose Loney.<br />

-Mary Rose Loney reads the Mayor's proclamation<br />

and introduces the First Lady.<br />

-The First Lady makes remarks.<br />

-At the conclusion of the First Lady's remarks,<br />

Jerry Roper invites all three bands to play<br />

"Happy Birthday".<br />

-The First Lady departs and works a ropeline right<br />

to left, as the Maine East band and the Maine<br />

South band play their fight songs.<br />

NOTE: Sue Shanahan, head of the HRC Fan Club in<br />

Chicago, hands the First Lady a birthday card on'<br />

the ropeline .<br />
