FORMAT:<br />

The First Lady joins the arriving<br />

First Ladies for the signing ceremony.<br />

The First Ladies are escorted into the<br />

ante room of the auditorium and receive a<br />

short briefing of the Canal by the Canal<br />

Administrator.<br />

Upon conclusion of the briefing, The First<br />

Ladies proceed into the auditorium.<br />

Mrs. Perez Balladares, and the Heads of<br />

Delegation from Bolivia and Chile are seated<br />

on stage with the Queen of Belgium.<br />

The First Lady, accompanied by the rest<br />

of the First Ladies will be seated in<br />

the first two rows in alphabetical order.<br />

The stage participants sign the Declaration,<br />

then one-by-one, each First Lady is announced<br />

to the stage to sign the Declaration.<br />

The First Lady proceeds to stage, taking the<br />

empty seat at the table and signs the<br />

Declaration.<br />

After each First Lady signs the Declaration,<br />

she returns to her seat.<br />

After all First Ladies have taken their<br />

seats, Mrs. Perez Balladares proceeds to the<br />

podium for brief remarks and introduces Mrs.<br />

Frei, First Lady of Chile and next year's<br />

Conference host.<br />

Mrs. Frei proceeds to the podium for brief<br />

remarks.<br />

Upon the conclusion of Mrs. Frei's remarks,<br />

the First Ladies will be asked to proceed<br />

outside for a class photo.<br />
