Mark has 18 years of international investment banking and private
equity experience in London, New York, Moscow. He has spent 15
years working in the former Soviet Union and was one of the pioneers
of the private equity industry in Russia. Having opened the Deloitte &
Touche Russian operation in 1990, he went on to head up corporate
finance in Eastern Europe and the FSU for the New York investment
bank Bear Stearns & Co. In 1993, he set up Anglo-Russian Finance &
Investment Corporation and shortly after founded the world’s 1st
private equity fund for Central Asia & Siberia, became its CEO. Most
recently he was MD of the Alfa Bank private equity operation and was
MD, Russia of the German consultancy company, Droege & Co.
Vojkan is co-founder of Apex with 14 years experience in real estate
funds management and investment industry, having held senior
executive roles as Managing Director for MGPA Emerging Europe,
Fund Manager of BPT Arista and Managing Director of BPT Asset
Management in Russia. In these roles he has structured and managed
a Russian real estate fund with an investment capacity of EUR 1
billion. Vojkan has a BA (Hons) from EBS in London and MRICS.

Bertrand is the Managing Director of QES Investment Ltd., an
“investment management/family office boutique” specialising in
financial investment advice. He has been operating in Ukraine
from London since 1994 where he is now concentrating on a large
scale property development. He has recently embarked on both
commercial and residential developments in Russia. He founded Fides
Asset Management Limited, an investment management company,
which has several funds of hedge funds under management,
Bertrand is a director of the Museé Schlumberger in France. He is a
Member of the Société Française des Analystes Financiers.
Jeppe de Boer is a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate
Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital. Before joining
Renaissance Capital in 2007, he spent over seven years at
Goldman Sachs. Jeppe founded Goldman Sachs’ European Real
Estate Advisory Team and was responsible for many of the largest
European real estate transactions including the EUR12bn merger
between Rodamco Europe and Unibail and the USD1.4bn IPO of AFI
Development. Before his transition to investment banking, Jeppe was
the Lead Real Estate Analyst at both Goldman Sachs and ABN AMRO.
In this role he was deeply involved in the European thought process
leading up to REIT introductions in the UK and France.
