Starr Investments Russia LLC was formed
in 2007. It is mainly focused on real-estate

Lila Vad is the Country Manager for Starr in Russia. She is responsible
for real estate and private equity investments. Ms. Vad has held senior
positions in investment companies in Russia since 1997. In 2004 Ms.
Vad was a Managing Director, at AIG Global Real Estate. Before AIG,
Ms. Vad was the CEO of ATT Pension Fund portfolio in Russia. Lila Vad
received a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles and an MA
from the Johns Hopkins University.
Andrey Valaev, Deputy General Director on commercial and
marketing. Andrey works for the Fund “Gazpromipoteka” since its
foundation. Mr. Valaev graduated from the Institute of Asian and
African studies at the Moscow Lomonosov State University. He
worked in the countries of south-east Asia and Russia in such area
as import-export, industrial and commercial construction, oil and
gas industry. Fund «Gazpromipoteka» found in 2007 as subsidiary of
JSC «Gazprom» owned. The main purpose of the Fund is to invest in
residential and commercial real–estate throughout many regions of
Russian Federation.

Christopher S. Van Riet is the President of Giffels Management Russia
(“GMR”) overseeing all aspects of its business development. Mr. Van
Riet has more than 10 years of business experience in Russia and the
Former Soviet Union. In addition to his GMR activities, Mr. Van Riet
is a board member of several market leading consumer oriented
businesses in Russia. Mr. Van Riet is a U.S. citizen but resides in
Moscow, Russia with his wife, Daria.
Sergey was appointed Commercial Director of “Eurasia Logistics” in
2007. During this period Sergey leased more than 800 000 sq. m.
of industrial space in logistics parks of the company. Last 10 years
Sergei worked in industrial real estate and logistics field for such
companies as Nestle, ICN Pharmaceuticals, SunInterbrew, Logicon,
Cushman&Wakefield Stiles&Ryabokobylko. Education: Moscow
Institute of Phisics and Technogy State University (MIPT).

Vera is a member of Heitman’s European Acquisitions group,
responsible for sourcing and executing transactions in Russia. Prior
to joining Heitman, she worked in the Property and Tourism Team
of the EBRD out of London and Moscow. Vera headed teams for
equity, mezzanine, and senior debt projects of all real estate asset
types across Central and Eastern Europe, also being responsible
for origination, business development and marketing for property
transactions in Germany, Austria, Italy and Scandinavia. Other
work experience includes work at Commerzbank in Prague, Czech
Republic, and at KfW in Frankfurt, Germany.
Steven Wayne is CEO of Jensen Group, which he founded in 1991.
Jensen Group is a leading real estate private equity investment
manager and developer based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. As a part
of his responsibilities at Jensen, Wayne serves as General Director of
Sestroretsk Instrument Works, the oldest factory in Saint Petersburg
which was founded by Peter the Great in 1721. In addition, Wayne
serves on the Executive Committee of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Saint Petersburg. Prior to Jensen, Wayne worked at
Morgan Stanley in both their Corporate Finance and Real Estate
Finance Departments, in the firm’s New York and London offices.
Wayne is a resident of Russia and a citizen of the United States.
