Mount Everest, the ways to give to PASA
are endless! PASA members continue to
surprise us with their creativity in raising
funds for the organization. Recent highlights
have included dinners in member’s
homes, movie screenings, sales of promotional
items, a listing on a wedding registry,
a portion of a business award, and a
yoga fundraiser. What can you add

● Johnson Matthey Coulour
Technologies in Downingtown, PA
recently made PASA the partial beneficiary of an
award amounting to $1,100. Johnson Matthey
(JM) is a specialty chemical company focused on
precious metals, fine chemicals and process
technology with over 30 sites in the United
States and over 100 sites worldwide. When JM,
Downingtown, received the Sustainability of
People Site Award in December as a result of
their carbon footprint and life cycle analysis
training that they provide their employees, they
chose to donate a large portion of the award
proceeds to PASA — recognizing PASA as an
organization that shares their mission to promote
sustainability. It is evident when speaking
with the employees of JM that they take pride in
encouraging one another to practice more sustainable
choices both at work and in their personal
lives.

● Trek for PASA
They are at it again! Steve and his 14 year-old son Randy are climbing Mount
Everest for the second year in support of PASA. Last year they successfully
climbed to an elevation of 18,500 feet and this year they are setting their
sights even higher with the goal of reaching 21,000 feet. For this fundraiser
to be successful, they will need the support of you! Please support Steve,
Randy, and PASA by becoming a sponsor, friend or supporter today!
