Health and Medical Media Award for the best medical
information series. In addition, Jan will soon be
hosting a new series on Discovery Health called
America’s Most Shocking Cases. Garavaglia also
authored How Not To Die, in which she relates some
of her own experiences as a medical examiner to
educate readers how to better care for their health
and avoid premature death.
Dr. G. has appeared as a guest on The Oprah
Show, Larry King Live , The Rachel Ray Show and
will be appearing in September on the new Dr. Oz
Show.
Jan is married and has two sons.
