During tracer gas leak detection, the empty air-conditioning<br />
system is charged with commercially available tracer gas. Any<br />
escaping gas is traced by a leak detection unit especially developed<br />
for the application.<br />
No cross sensitiveness to other gases.<br />
On account of the small molecule size, even the tiniest of<br />
leaks can be found<br />
The evaporator can easily be checked through the ventilation<br />
slots in the passenger compartment.<br />
Thanks to the straightforward and reliable method, you save<br />

The LOKTRACER 500 was especially developed for tracer gas leak<br />
detection in vehicle air-conditioning systems. The unit reacts<br />
exclusively to tracer gas, so that cross sensitiveness to other gases<br />
can be almost completely excluded. The extra-long and highly<br />
flexible measuring probe also allows components in the engine<br />
compartment which are difficult to access to be checked. The size<br />
of the leak is indicated by 3 LEDs.<br />
Green LED: No leak<br />
Yellow LED: Leak > 1.4 g/year<br />
Red LED: Leak > 14 g/year (major leak)<br />
The intermediate range is indicated by an increasingly loud<br />
acoustic signal (can be switched off).<br />
