advertised as a ‘scholastic notebook’.
The overall theme of the notebook focuses on antiseptics. The notebook is
a ring binder to which paper has been added. As a result of this the dates
of the experiments vary greatly and it is difficult to know if Fleming went
back to experiments or it is just where pieces of paper were placed later
on, as a result there are few defined sections of work.

written on the back of a letter from A.T.R [Mattieu?] from National
Institute for Research in Dairying.
