Emergency Survival<br />

Everyday participants will focus on a different safety such as home alone and<br />

lost in the woods survival skills. Participants will learn how to survive in the<br />

wilderness with a Search and Rescue, the importance <strong>of</strong> gun safety and the<br />

importance <strong>of</strong> water safety with canoes at Lake Sacajawea. Friday we will take<br />

a trip to Wake Robin outdoor education area.<br />

Teen Leadership Week<br />

TLW is a unique opportunity for young people to connect with their community<br />

and other teens in a relaxed and fun setting. Students will learn skills for personal<br />

goal setting, effective communication, working as a team, how to resolve<br />

conflict, and etiquette in social and workplace settings.<br />

Age: Middle School Students, Grades 7-9<br />

Girls Hoop Camp<br />

Campers will learn basketball skills that will help them become an all-around<br />

hoop player. The camp coaches and helpers will make this a fun and enjoyable<br />

camp for everyone while teaching the game <strong>of</strong> basketball. Prizes and awards<br />

will be given and t-shirts for all campers. All area girls welcome.<br />

Archery Camp<br />

Participants will receive basic archery instruction using the longbow,<br />

Compound and Recurve bows with certified instructors. Shooting on the<br />

range at various targets and distances will round out a fun afternoon. One<br />

parent/guardian is required to stay during lessons and has the option <strong>of</strong> taking<br />

the class for free.<br />

Tennis Lessons<br />

Lessons will emphasize the fundamentals <strong>of</strong> the basic strokes and footwork.<br />

We will cover the forehand, backhand, serve & volley. Lessons will help develop<br />

hand-eye coordination, and improve muscle coordination. For beginners,<br />

the simplicity <strong>of</strong> the strokes we teach will give you ball control and the ability to<br />

play immediately.<br />
