Meditation opens and calms the mind. This is a basic meditation class for beginners, and for anyone who would like a renewed understanding of the technique. Allan Novick has practiced meditation since 1975 and is a meditation instructor at the New York Shambhala Center. He lives in Park Slope, has been a Coop member for many years, and works as a psychologist for the New York City Department of Education.
