THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CORRIDOR OF HOPE CENTER<br />

PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING THREE PROGRAMS:<br />

HOME TENANT BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE (TBRA) PROGRAM<br />

The city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA) is a housing assistance program that provides help to low income individuals and<br />

families, preferably at-risk or current homeless, to attain or maintain housing and stability. Assistance is granted based on eligibility and documentation<br />

requirements. Applicants must be city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> residents for a minimum <strong>of</strong> six months and their income must not exceed the following income<br />

guidelines for the household size. Rental assistance and support services are provided by outside agencies selected by the city. For more information,<br />

EMERGENCY RELOCATION ASSISTANCE (ERA) PROGRAM:<br />

The city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> Emergency Relocation Assistance (ERA) Program provides moving assistance to those households who rent single family homes<br />

and are forced to move due to the foreclosure, default or bankruptcy <strong>of</strong> the landlord. Moving assistance may include the cost <strong>of</strong> movers/moving<br />

truck, security deposits, utility deposits and application fees. There are eligibility and documentation requirements in order for a household to<br />

apply. Most importantly the current home must be located within the city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> and the household income must not exceed the following<br />

income guidelines for the household size:<br />

FAMILY REUNIFICATION PROGRAM (GREYHOUND):<br />

The city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> Homeless Family Reunification Program provides a one-way Greyhound bus ticket for homeless person(s) to live with family<br />

and/or friends outside <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong>. There are eligibility and documentation requirements in order for a person(s) to apply. Most importantly the<br />

applicant must be homeless, has lived in the city <strong>of</strong> <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> for at least six months, has no income/ resources and it can be verified that they<br />

will not be homeless upon arriving at their destination.<br />

A PUBLIC SERVICE FROM THE NEVADA ATTORNEY GENERAL<br />

HOME AGAIN NEVADA<br />

Home Again is a new program that makes it easier for residents <strong>of</strong> Nevada to determine<br />

what state or federal assistance be available to them with a single “one-stop shop,” free<br />

resource. Initiated by Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and led by Financial<br />

Guidance Center, the Home Again Nevada Homeowner Relief Program is designed for:<br />

• Homeowners seeking a loan modification<br />

• Consumers working to restore their credit<br />

• Households working toward home ownership<br />

The no-fee service is available for all Nevadans simply by calling toll free 1-855-HLP-4-NEV (1-855-457-4638)<br />

with both English and Spanish-speaking assistance available. The call center is open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through<br />

Friday. Information is also available at www.HomeAgainNevada.Gov.<br />
