NSF/ANSI Standard 46 • Chlorination devices – Other requirements (both 46 & 385) • Failure sensing and signaling equipment to detect and alert owner to failures with audible and visual signal • Flow design – a designated flow path indicative of entire treatment process • Service label – A clearly visible label or plate permanently located in a visible location on the device providing instructions for obtaining service, including name, address and phone number of manufacturer’s authorized representative and the acceptable type of chlorine to be used in the device. For dispensers, label must specify min. size of contact tank to be used
