NSF/ANSI Standard 46 • Ultraviolet disinfection devices – Other requirements • Failure sensing and signaling equipment to detect and alert owner to failures with audible and visual signal • Flow design – a designated flow path indicative of entire treatment process • Service label – A clearly visible label or plate permanently located in a visible location on the UV device providing instructions for obtaining service, including name, address and phone number of manufacturer’s authorized representative.
