On one hand, technology import in the pharmaceutical industry from Asia and
Africa recorded a considerable drop at 28.87% and 73.95%, respectively. On the
other hand, the import from Europe and South America each increased by 36.8%
and 89.3%. (Table Ⅱ-4-3) The top three originating countries of technology
import in pharmaceutics were Japan, Germany, and US, in the descending order,
in 2005. (Table Ⅱ-4-4)
