<strong>The</strong> transformed <strong>Ashmolean</strong><br />
opened its doors on the<br />
7 November 2009.<br />
Since opening over 16,000 primary<br />
school children have taken part in our<br />
new <strong>programme</strong>s and 300 primary<br />
school teachers have taken part in<br />
taster <strong>to</strong>urs, planning meetings and<br />
professional development sessions.<br />
Our new purpose built Education<br />
Centre with its designated entrance<br />
for schools, education studio and<br />
lunch room has proved enormously<br />
successful for school visits.<br />
<strong>The</strong> new Museum offers wonderful<br />
opportunities for cross-curricular<br />
teaching and learning.<br />
