In addition to maintaining the Station’s local recruitment sources contact list (see<br />

Attachment A), the Station participates in the following long-term recruitment measures.<br />

A. Job Fairs<br />

Promotions Manager Kate Fisher who has hiring responsibilities for the Station attended<br />

the following job fairs during the reporting period, which were all given free air time to<br />

promote their events:<br />

- Martin Luther King Jr Holiday Diversity Job Fair on January 16, 2012 at the<br />

Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN. Resumes were collected for<br />

Account Executives and Road Crew.<br />

- The City of Minneapolis’ 12th Annual Diversity Employment Day on June 2 ,<br />

2012 at the Holiday Inn Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN. Resumes were collected for<br />

Station Manager.<br />

- NAACP MN State Conference Diversity Job Fair on September 19, 2012 at the<br />

Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN. Resumes were collected for<br />

Account Executives.<br />

- Choice Career Fair on November 1, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in<br />

Bloomington, MN. Resumes were collected for Account Executives.<br />

B. Media Trade Group Listings<br />

Notice of each full-time, non-temporary, upper-level opening is distributed to a media<br />

trade group with a broad-based membership that includes women and minorities,<br />

including: American Women in Media.<br />

The Station seeks to regularly assess and improve recruitment methods and sources by<br />

analyzing their individual effectiveness and making changes as appropriate.<br />
