New Chapter One Wristwatch

a tourbillon with mono-pusher column wheel chronograph,
retrograde date, and retrograde GMT, as
well as moon phase and day of the week on their

with the day and
month on Maîtres
du Temps iconic
rollers, making it one of the
more legible triple calendar
mechanical wristwatches now

From a design standpoint, the circles
within circles are balanced by the juxtaposition
of the rectangular forms of the
two roller indications. The long, flowing
compound curves traverse the case while
a laser-pierced moon and stars on the
outer roller of the moon phase indicator
add to the design.
The Chapter One watch was crafted by
two watchmakers: English watchmaker,
Peter Speake-Marin, and Master Watchmaker,
Christophe Claret, of the Geneva
School of Watchmaking. Mr. Speake-
Marin believes, in order for horological
artistry to flourish, watchmakers must be
aware of the past and conscious of the
wealth of new possibilities offered by
