GRAND MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY THUR 17 MAY
4pm @ Moruya Public School Hall, Evans St, Moruya.
The 2012 Eurobodalla River of Art festival will be opening with a special event for
all your friends and family, a Grand Mad Hatters Tea Party. The River of Art team
invites you and your friends to create your own mad hat or teacosie to wear and
join us in an afternoon of silly sights, live performance with a spot of light refreshment
to tantalize your taste buds.
The evening will continue with the Moruya Public School P&C and Parent Group
presenting in partnership with the Moruya Community Film Group as special
screening of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
It will be an evening of mad hats and frivolity focused on festivals and family fun.
If you are going to be here for the evening, please bring a picnic dinner, have your
photo taken with your mad hat and enjoy a night out with your clan.

ABC Open is collaborating with River of Art to capture the opening night magic
with a special Mad Hatter themed photo booth with ABC Open Producer, Vanessa
Milton. Come and say hello, pose for a photo, and find out more about sharing

FAMILY FUN DAY & ARTS STREET SAT 19 MAY
9am – 2pm @ Moruya Country Markets, Riverside Park, Moruya
Be energized and invigorated by the Eurobodalla’s vibrant tapestry of cultural
wealth and treasure chest of artisans. Enjoy the Arts Street as it ignites the
heartbeat of our creative community with an ideal opportunity to indulge and
purchase local artisan’s work, experience live performance whilst you wander
around the markets. The Moruya River Riverside Park is the perfect place for a
picnic. Bring along your hamper and blanket and prepare to be entertained.
South East Arts supports arts and cultural development by providing
advice and assistance across all art forms and undertaking strategic
initiatives and projects.
Sunshine is part of a theatre project that uses oral history interviews
and research to create short, engaging performance pieces that explore
the local history of the South East region. See page X for details of the
