Cob Length<br />
Irrigation significantly increased seed corn cob length by 14.4%. The longest cobs were<br />
Pride #2, INB 508, Pride #3, Hyland T50-Bl, INB 505 and Pride #4 while the shortest<br />
cob was INB 503.<br />
Cob Width<br />
Irrigation significantly increased seed corn cob widths by 5.6%. The widest cobs were<br />
Pride#3 and Pride #4 while the narrowest cob was INB 501.<br />
Number <strong>of</strong> Cobs<br />
Irrigation significantly increased the number <strong>of</strong> mature cobs by 11.2%. INB508 had the<br />
highest number <strong>of</strong> cobs per plot while INB 502 had the lowest number.<br />
Average Number <strong>of</strong> Kernels per Cob Row<br />
Irrigation significantly increased the number <strong>of</strong> kernels per row by 19.3%. Pride #2 had<br />
the largest number <strong>of</strong> kernels per row while INB 503. The number <strong>of</strong> kernels per row<br />
was correlated to the cob length with the longest cobs having the largest number <strong>of</strong><br />
kernels.<br />
Average Number <strong>of</strong> Rows per Cob<br />
Irrigation significantly increased the number <strong>of</strong> rows per cob by 6.3%. Pride #3 had the<br />
largest number <strong>of</strong> rows per cob while Hyland T50-B1 had the fewest rows per cob.<br />
