I wanted our office to be a fun place for children, and
having decided that I wanted a pirate ship and a pirate
themed play area for our young patients, I then had to
determine how to make it happen. John suggested a
company that they had used in the past, Studio Y
Creations, to construct both areas. They turned out
better than I had hoped and they've been a huge hit
with the kids (and the parents too!)

Comfort and efficient.
All six of our operatories have been equipped with dual
monitors. Cleankeys keyboards facilitate infection control
and gyration mice allow the team to maintain eye contact
with patients when discussing treatment options. I was
so impressed with the comfort and performance of our
A-dec 500 chairs in our treatment operatories that we
added them to our hygiene ops.
The patient experience in our operatories is enhanced
with electric handpieces, digital radiography, intraoral
photography and Caesy. Perhaps my best investment
was digital x-rays. If our first image is less than ideal, for
example missing an endodontic apex or a wisdom tooth
periapical, we don't even have to remove the sensor from
the patient's mouth– we just reposition it and take
another shot–very efficient!
