ARGUS LIGHT-SENSITIVE SWITCH. Economic light control through the changing seasons. ARGUS light-sensitive switches from Merten reliably ensure that there is outside lighting. Over and above that the ARGUS lightsensitive timer saves even more energy and quickly pays off for your customers. ARGUS light-sensitive switch Depending on the requirements, there are two versions available: ■ ARGUS compact light-sensitive switch with preset ON and OFF threshold. ■ ARGUS light-sensitive switch – with adjustable switching threshold and greater switching capacity. ARGUS light-sensitive timer with time function The light-sensitive timer combines the functions of a light-sensitive switch and a timer in one device. You can choose between 3 functions: ■ ■ ■ Light-sensitive function: Each time the brightness threshold is reached, the light is switched on in the evening and off in the morning. Automatic function: In the evening the light is switched on when the set brightness threshold is reached and switched off again at a preset time (e.g. 11.00 pm). In the morning the light is switched on again at a preset time (e.g. 5.00 am) and switched off when the brightness threshold is reached. Semi-automatic function: In the evening the light is switched on when the set brightness threshold is reached and switched off again at a preset time (e.g. 11.00 pm). An integrated special function ensures that the time is automatically adjusted in accordance with the ambient brightness. Manual setting of the time is no longer necessary. Even in a power cut! The light-sensitive timer is particularly suitable for applications where it is important to have a constant light function in a specified time period.
