Set out below are the total dividends payable in respect of the financial year, which is the basis on which the
requirements of Section 1158 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 are considered. The revenue available for distribution
by way of dividend for the year ended 31 December 2010 is £42,000 (2009 – £324,000). The Directors do not
propose a dividend for the year ended 31 December 2010 (2009 – 0.30p).

Capital return per Ordinary share is based on the net capital return for the financial year of £138,300,000 (2009 –
£140,029,000) and on 80,465,858 Ordinary shares (2009 – 82,397,262) being the weighted average number of
Ordinary shares in issue during the year.
There are no dilutive or potentially dilutive shares in issue.
